[IMPORTANT] Whistleblower Confidentiality is Strictly Protected
In accordance with our “Regulations on Responding to Misconduct in Research Activities” and “Regulations on the Management and Audit of Research Funds,” we have established an internal and external whistleblowing and consultation desk. The privacy of whistleblowers is completely protected, and no individual will suffer any disadvantageous treatment as a result of making a report.

1. Acts Subject to Reporting and Consultation
   • Research Misconduct: Fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism of data in research papers and other publications (Specific Research Misconduct).
   • Misuse of Research Funds: Fictitious claims (such as phantom business trips or phantom orders), personal/off-purpose use, or any other inappropriate accounting practices involving public research funds (such as KAKENHI) or our organization’s research funds.
   
   
2. Who Can Make a Report
   Anyone can make a report or seek consultation, including our members, officers, staff, researchers, external suppliers, and members of the general public. Anonymous reports are also accepted.(※However, to facilitate progress updates and fact-finding investigations, we kindly ask for your cooperation in providing your name and contact information whenever possible.)
   
   
3. Information Required When Reporting
   To ensure a smooth investigation, please provide the following information to the best of your knowledge:
   1) The name of the researcher or staff member alleged to have committed misconduct.
   2) The timing and specific details of the misconduct.
   3) The grounds or evidence supporting the allegation (e.g., evidentiary materials).
