Laboratory
At the NPO Old Teachers Network, we have established a laboratory as a platform primarily for retired university faculty and corporate technical/development engineers to conduct non-profit research. The laboratory is organized into “Research Units” for each research theme, and under the leadership of the Laboratory Director, we promote international collaboration with institutions such as those in Vietnam. The admission of researchers is evaluated and decided by the Board of Directors based on past achievements and current research themes.
※Our institution is currently finalizing its official registration as a designated research institution under the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), the primary government-affiliated funding agency for scientific research in Japan (equivalent to the US NSF).

Co-hosted Summer School on Cybersecurity (Da Nang, Vietnam)
Co-hosted the Summer School on Cybersecurity with VKU (Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology) and JAIST (Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology).
Lecturers included 3 from Vietnamese universities, 1 from University of Lorraine, 1 from University of Cambridge, 1 from JAIST, 1 from Yokohama National University, and 2 from OTN.
